 Vcall Privacy Statement

As a leader in the development and delivery of webconferencing solutions around the world, Vcall is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Statement discloses Vcall's practices with respect to the collection, use and disclosure of user information collected through Vcall Internet websites (websites) and through use of Vcall web based products and services.

Vcall websites have advertising banners and hyperlinks that connect you to other websites run by third parties. This Privacy Statement does not govern other websites to which we may provide links or support, because Vcall is not responsible for, and cannot control the privacy practices or content of, those websites. Vcall recommends that you become familiar with the privacy policy of each website you visit prior to providing any personal information to that website.

Acceptance of this Privacy Statement, as updated from time to time, is a condition of your use of our websites, and you agree to be bound by this Privacy Statement.

Information Collection & Use

When you register on a Vcall website, use one of our services, complete a survey or request information from Vcall, we will ask you to provide information that personally identifies you or allows us to contact you. In addition, Vcall's servers automatically collect your IP address or domain name, along with information about which pages you visit whenever you visit a Vcall website. All of this information is referred to as "personal information."

Vcall uses personal information:

  • to perform normal business operations;
  • to personalize and publicize the website based on your interests, including making you aware of features, advertisements and commercial items;
  • to investigate complaints and to protect the website and Vcall, its users and employees as provided by law or in case of emergency, as determined by legal counsel for Vcall; and
  • to provide standard post-webconference reporting to the client who hosts the webconference.

By participating in a Vcall webconference, you agree to your personal information being shared with Vcall and the client that has hosted the event.

Unless you instruct us not to do so, Vcall may use your personal information to contact you about additional or new services, features or information regarding Vcall or its related companies. We will not provide your personal information to companies not related to Vcall without your express consent. Personal information does not include aggregate information (e.g. the total number of users, the zip code in which a user lives) or information that you have made public on the website or that is otherwise publicly available. If you wish to stop informational e-mails from us, you may follow the instructions in the e-mail itself or by e-mailing us at webmaster@vcall.com.

Security

Vcall is entrusted by clients in financial services, health care, federal government (including defense agencies) and other industries to safeguard sensitive and personal information. Vcall complies with all applicable laws and requirements in the protection and storage of this information. The personal information that we collect from you is protected via electronic and physical means and is stored on servers not available to the general public. We use industry-standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information, such as firewalls and secure socket layers where appropriate. Unfortunately, though, no physical or computer security efforts can provide "perfect" security over the Internet.

Disclosure for Legal Purposes

We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary: (a) to conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on us or our affiliates, (b) to protect and defend our rights or property or those of our users, (c) to act immediately to protect the personal safety of our users or the public, or (d) in connection with a merger, consolidation or sale of Vcall. As we continue to develop our business, we might buy or sell assets related to our business. In such transactions personal information generally is one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the event that Vcall is acquired, personal information may be one of the transferred assets and in that case privacy policy will be determined by the acquiror.

Anonymous Information

Vcall may gather information that does not personally identify you regarding your use of Vcall websites or services. Generally, you will not be aware when we are collecting anonymous information about you. Anonymous information is collected in various ways, including traffic data, cookies, IP addresses and computer-identifying numeric codes.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this Privacy Statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If we change any of our privacy policies or practices, we'll post those changes to this Privacy Statement at least 30 days prior to the time that they take effect.
